Transitioning into Spring

Its that time of the year where the first glimpse of sun causes everyone to go into a frenzy, from packing all our winter clothes away to sunbathing in our sun loungers. However, I often find that the transition between spring and summer is where my wardrobe struggles the most. Finding something that isn’t as warm as a jumper but not as a cold as a strappy crop top, this is the dilemma I face when I open my wardrobe every day.

Top-

The white blouse with brown buttons is from Topshop. I think it’s a really nice transition piece, as it’s a light cotton, which can be dressed down with jeans and trainers or dressed up with smart trousers. I purchased a bigger size so I was able to undo the buttons, and have it tied at the waist, which can add more of a summery effect.

Trousers-

The black ribbed culottes are from Primark, absolute bargain for £13. They are so lightweight and comfy, which is perfect for now and I’ll be wearing them throughout summer! It’s worth having a little look in Primark, as they have some good summer pieces coming in and I find that once they are gone in Primark, they don’t always restock the same thing.

Shoes/Accessories-

My sandals are old Topshop from last year and handbag is also Topshop. I bought the handbag a few months back, it’s my favourite bag at the moment as it’s such a good size for every day. I also added a pop of colour with my earrings which are also from Primark, the pink compliments the black and white outfit and I am also loving a bigger earring to accessorise with!

Having basic pieces like this in your wardrobe can be ideal for transitioning into spring, and how cute is the pop of yellow behind, just had to stop and take some photos when driving past! Hope you enjoyed x
